it’s very depressing when you think of what you used to be able to do, and then you look at yourself a few months, maybe a year or two even, into the future, and it just isn’t there anymore. you aren’t motivated to do the things you used to love doing, and as much as you wish you could do them once again, you aren’t sure what will come out of it.

don’t doubt yourself, take risks: that’s what i have to keep telling myself. and you know what, i’m going to just have to repeat it until i believe it.
